A liqueur inspired by some recipes found in an old building in the historic centre of Ugento, which in the past was first a monastery and then a distillery and wine cellar.
An elixir produced by cold infusion of natural botanicals:
The leaves, herbs and fruits are organic and harvested in their ripening period;
The roots are patiently dried in the sun;
Mixed and diluted with aloe vera, balsamic honey and herbal teas of the botanicals to extract their beneficial properties from them either by alcoholic infusion or maceration;
The original combination of the bitter flavour of the roots and leaves, the sweet and sparkling fragrance of the citrus fruits and berries and the fresh and balsamic taste of the spices, wisely blended according to ancient and traditional methods, gives the product extraordinary digestive properties.
An intense, bitter taste lingers on the palate, all wrapped up in a balsamic aftertaste.
